2 Reasons.
1) - Everyone is studying/cramming for our Metabolism and Function exam. If they aren’t, then they are likely procrastinating, and not everyone procrastinates by authoring blog posts.
2) - Since our graphic design and blog design have been completed, the logging in method has changed. Which means even if anyone else tried to post, they probably wouldn’t know how. And given that it’s examcram time, I doubt they’d work to hard at figuring that part out.
So here I am. Sitting with nothing by a soy chai latte and a turkey cran-mayo sandwich to comfort me. Left to ponder the fine balance stress induced motivation to continue studying and brain saturation. During this time I’ve realized two things.
First, brain saturation is exactly like perfusion limited alveolar diffusion of O2 in the early stages of review. For a while the amount of information going into my brain is only limited by the amount of material that I am able to get through. Unfortunately, after a time, the process switched to diffusion limited scenario, in which I can read and study as much as I want, but the information seeping into my head is determined by the ability to retain, which is more and more impaired as time goes on. Thankfully this state is reversable after a period of rest.
Second, halfway through my delicious turkey and cran-mayo sandwich, I realized I forgot to remove the cheese! As a lactose intolerant person, I look forward to experiences something that was very well characterized during our GI lectures this past week! Bonus points to the first commenter to describe the mechanism through which these symptoms occur!

Here from Leanne - what a great new blog home you’ve got!
Since I’m new here: Hello from Norway and wishing you a great end to your week
Hey Aaron! I’m lactose intolerant too - but I’m no med student! I can, though, empathize and tell you I wouldn’t be looking forward to an evening after eating diary. LOL!
I’m gonna go with osmotic diarrhea due to an accumulation of lactose in the intestinal lumen.
Close?

That’s only a partial answer. But I guess the real question is, at 7:31pm tonight - will anyone care?
