I’d like to start off by welcoming everyone to the Dalhousie class of 2011 official blog!  You may be wondering why our medical school class is interested in starting a blog and what we expect as a result. Our main expectation is that this blog will allow contributors to record individual experiences throughout our time in medical school. 

For the class of 2011, this may be a way for us to share our stories and remain in touch after we graduate and move into residency and beyond.For prospective medical students, this could be one tool that helps them to decide if this is the right career path for them.

For faculty and people who have coached, mentored and supported students through these experiences, this will be an opportunity for them to share their wisdom.

For everyone else, this blog will provide some insight into the life of a medical student. 

We hope that the stories you read here will bring a smile to your face while other stories resonate a little deeper.
